Today, The Gym Group remain the only listed fitness leisure business on the London Stock Exchange since 2015 and has grown to 230 gyms with 867,000 members nationwide!

Not only do they offer clean and welcoming gyms, but The Gym Group are also sector leaders in sustainability, contributing £3.3 million in social value per gym to the communities they operate in. Furthermore. The Gym Group is the UK’s first carbon-neutral gym chain.
Following a record number of 28 new gym openings in 2022, this year they have added Accrington and Edinburgh Corstorphine gyms to their portfolio. This is their first site in Accrington in Lancashire, an 11,000 sq. ft. space based in Eastgate Retail Park. Offering a short walk from the town centre which also offers free parking.
The Gym group has also opened a gym in Edinburgh Corstorphine. This was their fifth opening in Edinburgh and their 19th gym in Scotland. The gym is located on the Corstorphine Retail Park, and near to South Gyle train station, which makes it ideal for commuters.
2023 marks the 15th year since The Gym Group opened its first gym in Hounslow in 2008. As well as new openings, they also continue to invest in and refurbish their gyms and kit to give members a high-quality TGG gym experience at an affordable cost.
They recently reopened their gym in West Hampstead in London. This was following a significant refurbishment. This included new cardio and weights equipment, plus upgrades to the gym facilities, including the flooring and changing areas.
Whilst they do have more exciting openings in the pipeline for 2023 and beyond, The Gym Group continue to review and appraise suitable locations and premises. They can adapt gym formats to a range of sites between 10,000-20,000 sq ft. covering a maximum of two floors.
Their highest-performing gyms are in urban residential areas, and often in workforce catchment areas with easy access to parking or close to major transport hubs.
