Giving brands a voice
Why Soapbox?
As a small or new brand to the market it can be difficult to meet with the right property contacts and secure new sites. This is why, in 2014, the Soapbox sessions were launched to the Marketplace events. Soapbox is now part of the show’s DNA and is a highly anticipated element of every show in the UK and its international counterparts.
The Soapbox stage faces a targeted audience of Marketplace’s attending property professionals. All of them are keen to discover exciting and unique brands that would match their available sites, whether it be a bricks and mortar business, a kiosk, floor space or a pop-up with a niche space requirement.
We are proud to give brands a platform to showcase their offerings and make invaluable connections.
Applying for a free 3-4 minute slot on the Soapbox stage at any of the events is easy, simply tell us about yourself and your brand’s site requirements below.
Brands who have pitched on Soapbox
“As a new restaurant business, CRMP was a fantastic opportunity to raise our profile with property agents and landlords. Our Soapbox presentation was very well received and has led to some fruitful connections and conversations. And we loved our full page spread in the magazine (One Day Magazine, the CRMP event guide)!”
Emeka Frederick, Founder - Chukus
"It’s a brilliant platform for new and emerging businesses, and it’s great to be able to tell our message to what was a packed crowd this morning.
Soapbox is really important for up-and-coming brands because it’s a way for you to speak directly to all the main property people in the UK property market, they are all here."
Elliot Walker, Founder – The Massage Company
"As a young new brand, Soapbox opened us up to a whole raft of different landlords that are looking for diversity in terms of their offering. Giving us a great amount of exposure.
We actually met one of our current landlords through Soapbox.
We now have three locations and we are about to open our fourth with the landlord Quintain, who were the sponsor of Soapbox last year."
